End User License Agreement

1. The Application

Lingonaut is software designed to teach users new languages, customized for iOS and Android devices. The app is not tailored for industry-specific regulations like HIPAA or FISMA. Users cannot operate the application in violation of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.

2. Scope of Licence

2.1 Non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use on owned devices, with family sharing permitted.

2.2 License applies to updates unless separate licensing is provided.

"You may not share or make the Licensed Application available to third parties (unless to the degree allowed by the Usage Rules, and with Nautilus Incorporated's prior written consent), sell, rent, lend, lease or otherwise redistribute the Licensed Application."

2.4 Reverse engineering, decompiling, or creating derivative works prohibited without written consent.

2.5 Users may create backup copies only on owned devices and must remove the app before selling devices.

2.6 Violations subject to prosecution and damages.

2.7 Licensor reserves right to modify licensing terms.

2.8 Users must comply with applicable third-party terms.

3. Technical Requirements

3.1 Licensor maintains updates for firmware compatibility without obligation to provide updates.

3.2 Users responsible for confirming device compatibility.

3.3 Licensor may modify technical specifications.

4. Maintenance and Support

4.1 Licensor provides maintenance and support; contact via App Store or Play Store.

4.2 The Services have no obligation to provide maintenance or support.

5. Use of Data

The licensor accesses downloaded content and personal information subject to legal agreements and privacy policy. Licensor collects technical data about devices, systems, and software for product support, updates, and service improvements without personally identifying users.

6. User-Generated Contributions

Users granting permission to chat, post, or contribute represent and warrant that:

Contributions don't infringe third-party proprietary rights
They own or have licenses to use contributed content
They have consent from identifiable individuals in contributions
Contributions are not false, misleading, or inaccurate
Contributions aren't unsolicited advertising or spam
Contributions aren't obscene, harassing, or libellous
Contributions don't ridicule or threaten others
Contributions comply with applicable law
Contributions don't violate privacy rights
Contributions don't involve child exploitation material
Contributions don't contain offensive race, gender, or disability comments
Contributions don't violate license terms

Violations result in termination or suspension of access.

7. Contribution Licence

"By posting your Contributions to any part of the Licensed Application...you automatically grant...an unrestricted, unlimited, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free, fully-paid, worldwide right."

Users retain full ownership; licensor isn't liable for user statements. Licensor may edit, recategorize, or delete contributions without notice.

8. Liability

The Licensor's liability is governed by the applicable laws of England and Wales. Please refer to Section 16 for the governing law provisions.

9. Warranty

9.1 Application is free of spyware, trojans, and malware at download; works as documented.

9.2 No warranty for unauthorized modifications or inappropriate handling.

9.3 Users must report defects within a reasonable time of discovery via email.

9.4 Licensor may remedy defects or provide substitute delivery.

9.5 Refunds available through Services Store if defective.

9.6 Business users' claims expire after twelve months; consumer statutory periods apply.

10. Product Claims

Nautilus Incorporated is responsible for addressing claims about the app, including product liability, regulatory compliance, and consumer protection matters.

11. Legal Compliance

Users warrant they aren't located in US-embargoed countries or on US prohibited parties lists.

13. Termination

License terminates upon Nautilus Incorporated's notice or user violation. Users must cease use and destroy all copies upon termination.

14. Third-Party Terms of Agreements and Beneficiary

Licensor complies with applicable third-party agreements. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries with enforcement rights.

15. Intellectual Property Rights

Nautilus Incorporated is solely responsible for investigating and settling third-party intellectual property infringement claims.

16. Applicable Law

"This Licence Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, English law, excluding its conflicts of law rules."

17. Miscellaneous

17.1 Invalid terms don't affect remaining provisions; invalid terms replaced with valid equivalents.

17.2 Amendments require written documentation only.
