Hey everyone and welcome to this month’s WNWL! Lots has gone on behind the curtain that we’re not ready to share but there’s also some milestones I wanted to rave about! The mission to make it shorter and more readable continues:
The Android Alpha is out! (And #2, and #3..)
The Android Alpha came out juuust behind schedule on the 17th for Patrons, with two follow up bumper updates to fix major bugs. It’s mostly at parity with the iOS app now, and we’ll continue developing them both in lockstep such that no platform is left behind.

The people have spoken!
What do people think about the Android Alpha?

The many many bug reports we’re working our way through not pictured!

You can still get Early Access!
The Alpha is out but you can fill out the form to get access if you’re already an Earth+ patron or still become a new patron to get immediate early access!
If you’re a patron please head to https://lingonaut.app/patreon and enter the email you use for patreon (so we can match it to your pledge) and we’ll be able to send out alpha keys when they’re ready.
If you’re not already, now is the chance to pledge and secure a spot! Among early access you get a bunch of other great perks! It would be extremely appreciated and go towards keeping the project alive.
There’s also a waiting list at https://lingonaut.app/android-beta for non-patrons so you can secure your spot when the waves start rolling out for everyone else!
Just as a reminder:
Earth and above Patrons get access Immediately
Mercury/Venus Patrons get access ~02/03/2026
Everyone else gets access ~02/04/2026

After a few months in the oven our What is Lingonaut? promotional video was finally released and people really liked it!
A very big thanks to replayed.co for creating the video pro-bono and to NateB99 for the David Attenborough-like voice-over!
No AI was used in the making of this video or its audio.
We spread the word!
Not last and not least, much like Airbus did with its A300, we went around on various social media platforms and subreddits trying to spread the word about what we’re trying to build and people are taking note!
We’ve had surges in pre-registrations for the app and more members on our subreddit and our discord and it wouldn’t have been possible without you.
But we still need your help to spread the word! Every new person who know about Lingonaut means that we can keep the project alive for just that bit longer.
Plus, we’re sure many people don’t even know that there’s a replacement for the bird’s antics on the horizon and we just might be what they’re looking for!
Spanish is on its way and German, Finnish get overhauls.

Spanish is almost ready to come out the oven and we’re working to get overhauls for German and Finnish to get course-breaks bugs taken care of.
The idea is to make it possible to finish the courses we have from start to finish without encountering bugs.
That’s it for now, stay tuned!
I tried to make it short and to the point and can’t wait to show you what we have in store for February!
