I’m not here to overstate the obvious, but…
if you’d like any help with southeast asia hit a brutha up
I am also an official Ling app affiliate as well as for their Discord server; I can link you guys with resources and community for Thai learners and other eastern languages.
here are the languages I’m learning:
Indonesian — 280 million speakers
Javanese — 90 million speakers (but they all speak Indo)
Vietnamese — 90 million speakers
Cantonese — 90 million speakers
Burmese — 45 million speakers
most of these are not popular choices but that’s like a half-billion people I can talk to
oh and Azerbaijani 25 million
Hindi and Urdu exist too, that’s like 3/4 billion people.
but i don’t know much about those ones :^)
