Hei!
Norwegian has two written standards (bokmål and nynorsk), and I *strongly* suggest any course has them as separate languages. The other language app only has bokmål support, though there was growing support for nynorsk before the forums were shut down. Nynorsk, as the minority standard, has extremely limited learning resources online that aren’t already in Norwegian, so having support for it on Lingonaut would be a huge selling point within Norway and would likely get some positive media attention!
As the two languages are different grammatically as well as through vocabulary it doesn’t make sense to just have 1 singular “Norwegian” course, and any contributors to the language would absolutely be aware of this.
I’d love to hear others’ input here.
Cheers,
Eindride
It’d be very nice seeing Lingonaut offering both Bokmål and Nynorsk courses and I hope that there’ll be enough contributors to build up a Nynorsk course.
